at Welkom, South Africa (1972).

Stanley Dickens and Kunimitsu Takahashi win the 1000 kilometer All
Japan Sportscar Championship race at Suzuka in a Porsche 962. It is
the 31st (out of 35 races) and final win for the 956/962 in Japanese
competition (1989).

Sterling Moss, driving an Aston Martin DBR2, wins the Governor's
Trophy race at Nassua in the Bahammas (1959).
