Manfred von Brauchitsh scores the Mercedes-Benz Type W25 debut victory by winning the Eifelrennen at the Nurburgring (1934).

June 4
"Lucky" Casner, driving his Camoradi Maserati Tipo 61, wins the 2-heat, 600 kilometer sports car race on the Les Essart Circuit near Rouen, France (1961).

June 5
Jim Hall tests the Troutman and Barnes built Chaparral MkI chassis 001 for the first time, at Riverside, California, USA (1961).

June 6
John Watson wins the Detroit Grand Prix in a McLaren MP4 (1982).

June 7
Stanley Dickens drives a Lola T590 to victory in the EFDA Euro-Sports 2000 race at Donnington, England (1981).

June 8
Alfa Romeo 158s finish 1-2-3 in the Swiss Grand Prix at Bremgarten. Jean-Pierre Wimille winning with Achille Varza second and Carlo Trossi third (1947).

Michael Andretti wins the CART ITT Automotive Detroit Grand Prix in a Lola-Ford. Toyota scores their first points in CART competition when P.J. Jones' Eagle finishes 9th (1996).
