Adam Petty, son of Kyle and grandson of Richard, dies in a crash
during practice for the Busch Grand National race at New Hampshire
International Raceway in Loudon, New Hampshire, USA (2000).

Mark Donohue records the first sub-50 second lap (49.73 seconds) and
