The Angolan Grand Prix for sports cars is won by David Piper in a
Ferrari 365P2 (1965).
November 29
Automotive journalist and Mille Miglia winner (as navigator for
Stirling Moss) Denis Jenkinson dies of natural causes (1996).
November 30
CART team owners elect Pat Patrick as their first president and
announce that they will run their own races, without USAC sanction (1978).
December 1
Dan Gurney drives his Weslake-Ford-powered Eagle to victory in the USAC
Championship race at Riverside International Raceway in Riverside,
California, USA (1968).
December 2
Roger Penske drives a Ferrari 250 GTO to victory in the Tourist Trophy
race at Nassau in the Bahamas (1962).
December 3
Stanley Dickens and Kunimitsu Takahashi win the 1000 kilometer All
Japan Sportscar Championship race at Suzuka in a Porsche 962. It is the
31st (out of 35 races) and final win for the 956/962 in Japanese
competition (1989).
December 4
Stirling Moss, driving an Aston Martin DBR2, wins the Governor's Trophy
race at Nassau in the Bahamas (1959).
