Halfway through the WEC season finale and Porsche still holds the upper hand. The No. 14 Porsche has taken command from the No. 20 as the No. 8 Toyota continues to serve as their biggest threat, splitting the teammates. Marc Lieb drives the leading car.

It's been an eventful hour for the Toyota. It first started with a spin, assisted by the No. 75 Porsche. The Toyota dropped down to fourth but has since retaken lost places from the Audi and Porsche. Davidson took the Toyota through the grass for a moment as well, but held position and rejoined without issue.

Emerson Fittipaldi's much anticipated return was hindered by issues as the car stalled on track. Emmo got it back running, but only to return the No. 61 to the garage. This day has not been kind to the LMP2 leaders. The KCMG entry, which has held top spot since G-Drive Racing's crash, went off and made contact with the armco. The team was lucky to escape without suspension damage, but the lead was still lost to SMP's No. 37.

The No. 95 entertained fans with a quick loop around while running second, but escaped without leaving the track surface and currently leads GTE Am. Porsche Team Manthey hold point over the AF Corse Ferraris and AMR Astons, leading GTE Pro.
