Norman, OK -- April 26, 2006 -- The battle for the World of Outlaws Sprint Series championship no doubt will be fierce throughout the 2006 season, but the fight to be called the series' top rookie just got more intense, too.

With six drivers in the race for the prestigious honor, Maxim Racing and ButlerBuilt Motorsports Equipment have teamed to make the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award Presented By Maxim Racing and ButlerBuilt even more rewarding.

Becca Anderson, Jeremy Campbell, Justin Henderson, Chad Kemenah, Jason Martin and Bill Rose all are racing to win a completely outfitted Maxim Racing car loaded with a ButlerBuilt Professional Seat System that includes steering wheel and safety harnesses.

The car will be featured at several World of Outlaws events this season, beginning Saturday at Knoxville Raceway.

"Maxim is honored to be associated with the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award," said Mike Long, Maxim Racing's VP of Operations. "The sponsors, owners, drivers and crew members that make up the teams competing for this title represent the future of sprint car racing. By awarding a complete race car to the winner, Maxim is able to assist in their preparation for a sophomore season."

Jeannie Butler is equally excited to come on board in support of the award that honors Kevin Gobrecht, who dreamt of competing with the World of Outlaws as he grew up and raced his way to a full-time ride in Dave Blaney's car in 1999 and a victory at Eldora Speedway before a tragic racing incident later that season at I-80 Speedway in Nebraska claimed his life.

"ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems is proud to join Maxim Racing as a co-sponsor of the 2006 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award," Butler said. "Everyone at ButlerBuilt is excited to be associated with the program and DIRT MotorSports. We wish all of the competitors a great and safe racing season."

Enhancing the rookie honors is important to the World of Outlaws Sprint Series as it features the next generation of sprint car warriors in high-speed, wheel-to-wheel competition with some of the most competitive veteran drivers racing today.

"We are very excited to have Maxim and ButlerBuilt support our rookie program," said Rob Butcher, DIRT MotorSports Chief Marketing Officer. "Whoever emerges on top at the end of the season will have certainly earned the tremendous reward Maxim and ButlerBuilt are presenting to our top rookie so that he or she can continue their career in the World of Outlaws with high-quality equipment."

The World of Outlaws Sprint Series is brought to the fans across the country by several sponsors and partners, including series sponsors Hoosier Racing Tire and The Outdoor Channel. Promotional Partners include AMB i.t., Choice Hotels and The University of Northwestern Ohio. Associate sponsors are ButlerBuilt Motorsports Equipment, Maxim Racing and RacinSoles. Contingency sponsors include DART Machinery, MSD Ignitions and Wrisco Industries.
