ABOUT THE TRACK
Eldora Speedway is a high-banked, half-mile oval. Mean 15 racer Craig Dollansky established the track record in a World of Outlaws Sprint Series event when he turned a lap around Eldora in 12.707 seconds on April 13, 2002.

Rising competition: With 39 cars signing in last Friday at Batesville Speedway and an I-55 Raceway World of Outlaws record 55 cars on Saturday night, the World of Outlaws are averaging 40 competitors per event in 2006. Through the first eight races of the 2005 season, the World of Outlaws averaged 35 competitors per event.

Victory Lane sponsor: RacinSoles, the top shoe insole in motorsports, is the new World of Outlaws Sprint Series Victory Lane sponsor. "The World of Outlaws is an exceptional tour," said RacinSoles President Jason Hale. "In sponsoring this tour we hope to enlighten drivers and fans of the relief from aching feet, leg and back pain." Sold at most major motorsports and select World of Outlaws events around the country, RacinSoles will also be sold exclusively online at RacinBoys.com. A family-owned company since 1975, RacinSoles provides a therapeutic foot massage through a glycerin-filled shoe insole with a Cambrelle lining. The soles are guaranteed for a year.

Tickets on sale: Tickets are on sale for many of the upcoming World of Outlaws events, and fans are encouraged to check out the race track's Web sites for details. SLS Promotions is gearing up to promote several races beginning with the April 21 City of Lawrenceburg Sprint Car Nationals featuring the World of Outlaws and the All Star Circuit of Champions Winged Challenge at legendary Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway. -- Tickets also are available for the inaugural Missouri High-Bank Nationals May 5 at the ultrafast U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., where Mean 15 racer Terry McCarl owns the astonishing single-lap record of 9.91 seconds on the 3/8-mile clay oval. -- The next night, Saturday, May 6, the crew travels down to C. Ray Hall's historic 81 Speedway for the Third Annual Wichita Twister Showdown, won last year by Mean 15 racer Daryn Pittman. Tickets are available for this popular Kansas event thru SLS or by calling the track direct at 316-755-1781. -- Tickets for the two-day Duel In The Dakotas, run in conjunction with the Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo, N.D., also are on sale. The June 16-17 Duel will be tri-sanctioned with the All Stars and NOSA adding their stars and cars to the field for an incredibly competitive event that SLS is truly proud to be part of this in 2006.

Party time: The City of Lawrenceburg Sprint Nationals figures to be a non-stop party built around some exciting racing at the historic quarter-mile Lawrenceburg Speedway near Cincinnati. A pre-race party on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Downtown Lawrenceburg on Walnut Street will get things rolling as Craig Dollansky and his Karavan Trailers Maxim and Terry McCarl and his Big Game Treestands Eagle will be there to jump start the action. The party then will shift to the Hoosier Wings and Rings restaurant, which will have specials for fans each day during the event. The World of Outlaws will battle with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday, April 21, with USAC wingless sprints taking to the track on Saturday, April 22. For tickets to the Friday night event, call SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023.

Supporting Knoxville: Before the World of Outlaws roll into the pits on April 29 at Knoxville Raceway, several drivers will be around the region to meet-and-greet fans. Brooke Tatnell and Terry McCarl, who also will be bringing his No. 24 Big Game Treestands Eagle, will be among the racers signing autographs from noon to 2 p.m. on April 29 at South Ridge Mall in Des Moines. -- In addition to the mall signing on April 29, Justin Henderson's Race Girl/Jolt Energy Gum Schnee will be at the Kum & Go station next to Knoxville Raceway during the day. The following day, April 30, fans can follow the World of Outlaws as the series rolls north to Brandon, S.D., for its first of two events this season at Huset's Speedway.

The $50,000 Challenge: World of Outlaws races at Lernerville Speedway and Sharon Speedway normally are quite competitive, but wait until a $50,000 bonus is on the line. The winner of the May 19 Commonwealth Clash will have the option to start from the rear of the A-main the following night, May 20, at Sharon Speedway. If that driver can win the 40-lap event at Sharon, a bonus of $50,000 will be added to the winner's $10,000 check. A driver who wins both events and The $50,000 Challenge will pocket $70,000 -- a nice way to warm up for the Month of Money.

Variety show: In eight World of Outlaws events this season, six different drivers have motored to the RacinSoles Victory Lane while eight different drivers have started from the pole and eight different drivers have won a B-main.

Half-mile winners: Eldora Speedway is a high-speed half-mile oval. The World of Outlaws Sprint Series has raced five times this season on half-mile ovals. Winners include Chad Kemenah (Volusia), Joey Saldana (Volusia), Danny Lasoski (Manzanita), Donny Schatz (Las Vegas) and Sammy Swindell (Las Vegas).

Henderson adds sponsor: For the second consecutive event, Justin Henderson has gained a sponsor. After Race Girl joined his team at Las Vegas, Jolt Energy Gum has come onboard at Batesville. Jolt chewing gum contains caffeine plus Guarana and Ginseng for maximum energy. Fans are invited to stop by Justin's trailer in the pits for free samples. "We like the sport and the fans of sprint car racing," said Jolt President Kevin Gass. "We did a program last year that was more of a regional effort with good results and this year we wanted to get more of a national presence. The World of Outlaws and Justin Henderson brings that and more. During those 40 lap features, Justin can pop two pieces of Jolt before the race and be ready to blast by the competition. We are looking forward to a very long and prosperous relationship with Justin and helping in him his mission of winning Rookie of the Year honors." Henderson's machine is now the Race Girl/Jolt Energy Gum Schnee powered by Hollywood Engines.

Hindi gains support: RealTruck.com has joined Neon Dion Hindi to sponsor his No. 11D J&J. Based in Jamestown, N.D., RealTruck.com is the recognized leader in aftermarket accessories and performance parts for trucks and sport utility vehicles. Fans will be able to utilize a special Dion Hindi coupon that will save them 5 percent on their entire order. In addition, Greg Wilson (No. 20W All-Star Plumbing and Heating Maxim) and 2005 Knoxville Nationals top rookie Kaley Gharst (No. 44G Maxim) also have competed in all six World of Outlaws races so far this season.

QUOTABLE

The World of Outlaws Mean 15 racers offer their thoughts about this weekend's event at Eldora Speedway

Becca Anderson, driver of the No. 19 Woodring Racing JEI
On racing at Eldora Speedway: "Eldora is going to be pretty exciting. Hopefully we'll get the car going a little better and not so tight so we can get up on the wall and get going. It's going to be exciting to have Kenny Jacobs there as a team car because Kenny gets around the place so well. Hopefully I'll learn something from him. -- You definitely want to get running against the wall, not in the wall or on the wall. It's one of those things where you can't be intimidated by the track but you have to respect it all at once."

Jeremy Campbell, driver of the No. 10C Americas Best Value Inn Maxim

On racing at Eldora Speedway: "It's always fun. It's awesome running at Eldora. It's got the speed going so fast. Running up against the wall. It's a real competitive racetrack. Anybody can win there. It just depends on who is quick and who can make the last move at the last time and get across the finish line. -- When you're going through those turns, you're cruising. There is no rollercoaster out there like it. It's awesome."

Brian Carlson, driver of the No. 18 Lincoln Electric Maxim
On racing Eldora Speedway: "I guess the one thing about Eldora is that you have to be comfortable there. Even if the track slicks off, it's still real fast. On some nights it's right against the fence and there isn't much to lean on. Lately it seems like some guys have been working the middle and the bottom pretty good. The big thing is the momentum. You have to keep your momentum up there. It's a track where if you feel comfortable you seem to go fast. We've done pretty well there in the past so I'm looking forward to getting back to some familiar ground."

Craig Dollansky, driver of the No. 7 Karavan Trailers Maxim
On racing at Eldora Speedway: "I always enjoy going to Eldora. It's definitely one of my favorite racetracks. There's a lot of speed there, a lot of action goes on racing back-and-forth. Hitting that place in the springtime is definitely something I look forward to."

On the World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora: "Those guys have been doing a good job. They just need to get acquainted with the place and get comfortable before they push the envelope too hard."

Randy Hannagan, driver of the No. 1X Terry Hannagan Racing Maxim
On racing at Eldora: "It's good for me because I've had some success there and I need to carry it over to this year, plus it's close to home. -- The speed is kind of relevant, but the racing is good. When the track gets slick it gets real racy. It's one of the raciest racetracks we go to and I really enjoy that part of it. It's not a follow-the-leader type of place. Starting position doesn't mean a whole lot because if you're car is good you can pass and work your way to the front. It's a place where I have to be consistent. I've won some races there and I like it. The more speed the better."

Jac Haudenschild, driver of the No. 35 Wright One Construction Maxim

On racing at Eldora: "We're looking forward to getting back to Eldora. We're just getting started. The Rick Wright car has been feeling pretty good to us. Paul and Bonzai have the car going real good."

On the World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora: "There isn't much you can say. Most of those guys have raced quite a few races. Eldora is probably a little different than most of them. It's got a little bank and it's real wide, but all these guys out here are a pretty good bunch of guys and have a lot of laps. I think they'll do fine."

Justin Henderson, driver of the No. D1 Race Girl/Jolt Energy Gum Schnee powered by Hollywood Engines
On racing at Eldora for the first time: "When we go to Eldora, I'm really looking forward to the high speeds and running everywhere on the racetrack, passing back-and-forth. It's a real high-speed racetrack. I've been to Knoxville, but Eldora has such a bank to it. I want to see the bank, for one. I've heard a lot about it, but I really want to race at the higher speeds. It's going to be a lot of fun for us, plus it's historic so getting our sponsors names out there is good for everybody.

On what to expect in his first race at Eldora: "I've talked to quite a few people who have raced there before and they said just get ready to stand on the gas. It's a wide-open type of racetrack and hopefully our car is balanced right and we can go wide open. I'm really looking forward to going. It'll be the fastest I've ever gone I'm sure."

Dion Hindi, driver of the No. 11D RealTruck.com J&J
On racing at Eldora Speedway: "I've had some good races and bad races there. It's really when you're on the racetrack you don't have the sensation of speed. It's like everything condenses down and it doesn't feel as big as it is. It's usually a pretty good racetrack. We are looking forward to getting back there and hopefully running pretty good."

Chad Kemenah, driver of the No. 15K Underground Utilities Inc. Eagle

On racing at Eldora: "There's no place like Eldora. Eldora is just a place of its own. It's really fun because of the speeds and it's usually a really good show for the fans."

On several World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora for the first time: "The only thing I'd say to anybody who is racing Eldora for the first time is that you better have respect for it because if not it'll get you. There's just no substitute for seat time at that place, that's the biggest thing about Eldora."

Jason Martin, driver of the No. 36 NOS Energy Drink/Mafia Motorsports Maxim who is recovering from injuries sustained in an early season crash. Eldora veteran Rob Chaney will pilot the car this weekend

On Eldora Speedway: "I've been there before, but I'm really excited about it because Rob's always gone real good there. Hopefully we can pull something out of our hat and get something good there."

On when he'll return to action: "I'm looking to get back in on May 1. I want to get back in at Lawrenceburg (April 21), but we'll just have to see."

Terry McCarl, driver of the No. 24 Big Game Treestands Eagle
On racing at Eldora Speedway: "I hadn't been there since 1997 going into last year and I was a little leery of it. I was that way with a few tracks so I'm glad we got last year under our belt. Every time we went back I got better and better and got my qualifying down right away after the first time we were there. Then we finished second the last time we were there. I like Eldora. I like tracks with fences because I like to bang off the fence. Now I've got a year back under my belt and I feel real comfortable there and I'm really looking forward to going back."

Daryn Pittman, driver of the No. 21 Titan Garages & Carports Maxim
On racing at Eldora: "I always look forward to going to Eldora. It's a lot of fun and one of my favorite racetracks to go run at. It's the first real true test of speed. We'll have a tough car count. It's always a tough place and it's a lot of fun when you're good there."

On several World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora for the first time: "That place is tough on my 50th trip if I've been there that many times, let alone my first. It's the most fun racetrack when you have a good car and the worst whenever you don't have a very good car. It's a learning curve every time everybody goes there."

Joey Saldana, driver of the No. 9 Central Merchant Services Inc. JEI powered by Mopar
On racing at Eldora: "It's the track that I grew up at. The All Stars run there a lot so it was a track I got used to racing at."

On several World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora for the first time: "That track's a track where experience matters most. You could tell somebody until you're blue in the face, but it has nothing to do with anything until the driver figures it out. You just hope nothing crazy happens and they get some good laps and get some experience."

Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 ParkerStore J&J
On racing at Eldora Speedway: "It's one of those places where we haven't shined. We're excited to go back there. We have a lot of things we want to try. Obviously when we go there in the spring the weather is cold and the motors run real good so there could be a new track record. Maybe it'll be us, maybe it'll be somebody else but there's always the threat of doing that. That's a neat thing to do at Eldora and that's about the only time of the year you can do it. -- We just want to get ourselves in a good position for the Kings Royal so we're going to try a few things and hopefully we'll be fast enough to be up front."

On several World of Outlaws rising stars racing at Eldora for the first time: "I don't think there's anything you can tell anybody about racing at Eldora. It's big and the experience there sometimes pays off. Obviously, some of the best drivers at that place have been around the longest. We haven't been as good as we want to be. We've won there in the past, but times have changed since that happened. We're excited to get there and hopefully we can get everything in our program good enough to where we can be contending for a win."

Brooke Tatnell, driver of the No. 8 Garlic Jim's Pizza/Castrol Eagle
On racing at Eldora: "I love the place. It's probably one of the fastest tracks you go to and it's probably the racetrack that hurts you more than anywhere else. We haven't had a good run there in a long time, but we've been fast until something happens. I've had a couple of pretty big wrecks there and have had some other things go wrong that kept us out of good finishes. It's just a wicked place. It's a place where you sit down, hang on, don't turn the steering wheel and make sure you say a good prayer before you get strapped in."

UPCOMING EVENTS
Following the two-night event this weekend at Eldora Speedway, the World of Outlaws Sprint Series will embark on quarter-mile mania in Indiana with shows April 15 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt and April 21 in the City of Lawrenceburg Sprint Nationals at Lawrenceburg Speedway near Cincinnati. The series closes out the month with events April 29 at legendary Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, and April 30 at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D.
