World of Outlaws Mourns Second Racing Fatality KNOXVILLE, IA (July 19) - The World of Outlaws suffered the second racing fatality in its history Wednesday night when Danny Young lost his life due to injuries suffered in a crash at Knoxville Raceway. Young, 25, was attempting to cross under Danny Lasoski during a third-lap restart in the first heat race when they collided. The collision sent Young and Lasoski flipping through turn three. Despite the efforts of the paramedics on the scene, Young was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. The fatality was the first at Knoxville Raceway in 13 years. The other three heat races run following the fatal crash were caution- free. The World of Outlaws offers its most sincere condolences to Young's family. WoO*eof
