Donny Schatz to Drive Commemorative Sprint Car MINOT, SD (June 26) - In celebration of the 4th of July and the 100th Anniversary of Trucking in America, Donny Schatz will drive a special car to commemorate the events. The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series' 1997 Rookie of the Year will debut the sprint car in the Iowa Ethanol Classic at Knoxville Raceway, July 3-4. The series' 1997 Rookie of the Year will also race the special car at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, SD, July 7th. The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series is scheduled to run a three-day event at Red River Valley Speedway in Schatz' home state of North Dakota, July 9-11. The July 10th races will be televised live on TNN: The Nashville Network. Schatz started his racing career at Red River Valley Speedway in 1993. He will drive the 4th of July/100th Anniversary of Trucking car during the three-day event.
