TIFFIN, OH (Sept. 14)-The Gumout Racing Series return to action on Saturday, September 16th at Tri-City Speedway. The series resumes its inaugural season after taking a one week hiatus.

Tri-City Speedway, located in Granite City, Illinois last hosted the Gumout Racing Series on June 28th. Danny "the Dude" Lasoski took advantage of a Pennzoil World of Outlaws night off to win the $5,000 event. With the Pennzoil World of Outlaws currently competing in California, the outcome this Saturday night is guaranteed to be different.

Following the event at Tri-City, the Gumout Racing Series travels West to make its first appearance at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The Gumout Racing Series competitors will enter the Lakeside Speedway gates on Tuesday, September 19th on even ground as none of the drivers have seen the ½ mile oval.

Craig Dollansky heads into the upcoming week only 34 points ahead of "The Jet" Jeff Shepard. Paul McMahan, currently third in the point standings, is on a hot streak as he recently won two Gumout Racing Series events in only one week. The points battle is still hot with only 12 Gumout Racing Series events remaining.

The Gumout Racing Series will next compete with the Pennzoil World of Outlaws on September 21-23 at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. The event will be aired on TNN:The Nasville Network on Saturday, September 23rd at 9 p.m.
