FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 30, 2001) - Mark Kinser of Oolitic, Ind. had his season turn around in two days as he led all 40 laps of Friday night's Southern Bleacher Classsic Pennzoil World of Outlaws sprint car race at Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

The flag-to-flag victory for Kinser was worth $20,000 added to the $5,000 he won Thursday evening.

Kinser earned the feature race pole when he won the Channellock Dash in his MoPar-powered Maxim sprint car. Kinser jumped into an immediate lead at the drop of the main event green flag and maintained a two to three-second lead over the field the entire distance of the race. This was the first World of Outlaws victory of the season for the two-time series champion.

"Our MoPar motor gave us plenty of power tonight," said Kinser. "My crew has worked so hard and this weekend rewards them well. We won tonight because of our patience, sprint car racing demands patience."

Craig Dollansky of Elk River, Minn., the 2000 World of Outlaws Gumout Series champion, rode high in the second turn to overtake 16-time WoO kingpin Steve Kinser of Bloomington, Ind. on lap 37. Dollansky held on to claim the $10,000 runnerup prize ahead of Steve Kinser, Danny Lasoski of Dover, Mo., Joey Saldana of Brownsburg, Ind. and Jeff Shepard, Upperco, Md., who started 25th.

Numerous flips stopped or slowed the race but no driver was injured. Danny Wood of Norman, Okla. lost second place early in the race when he tumbled in turn four.

The Dirt Track portion of RPM Week - Texas concludes Saturday night with the Albertson's Spring Challenge for the United Dirt Track Racing Association Pro DirtCar Series. NASCAR Winston Cup driver Ken Schrader will compete as will Lasoski, driving a late model for his sprint car team owner, Tony Stewart. <pre> The finish:
