Series announces 'Mean 15'

Boundless Signs World of Outlaws Sprint Series 'Mean 15'

NORMAN, OK (May 4) -- Boundless Motor Sports Racing, Inc. (OTCBB: BMSR) (Boundless) announced Tuesday it has signed agreements with the world's 15 most outstanding sprint car drivers to represent the World of Outlaws Sprint Series while participating in the series' remaining events in 2004.

These 15 drivers, who will be marketed to sponsors, promoters and fans as the "Mean 15," have committed to Boundless to appear at each of the remaining scheduled events during the World of Outlaws Sprint Series' 27th season. This arrangement is similar to the agreements Boundless previously signed for its late model series whereby the 12 most recognized late model drivers -- known as the "Dirty Dozen" --will race with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series throughout the 2004 season.

"Contracting with these drivers is another meaningful step toward establishing stability within the World of Outlaws Sprint Series," Bobby Hartslief, Boundless' Chief Operating Officer, said. "Last year, there were only nine drivers who followed the entire World of Outlaws tour. Getting 15 to commit to racing the entire 2004 schedule is very significant. The success of the concept of a contractual relationship we pioneered with the 'Dirty Dozen' certainly had an influence."

The World of Outlaws Sprint Series "Mean 15" includes veterans Danny Lasoski, Craig Dollansky, Steve Kinser, Tim Shaffer, Donny Schatz, Daryn Pittman, Paul McMahan, Jason Meyers, Jason Sides, Joey Saldana and Brian Paulus, along with rookies Kraig Kinser, Jonathan Allard, Brian Brown and Erin Crocker.

"I'm glad all 15 of us agree on something, that we want to see the World of Outlaws grow to be a bigger series, and I really appreciate everything that Paul Kruger (Chairman and CEO) and Bobby Hartslief have done," Lasoski said. "Ted Johnson did a great job with the World of Outlaws over the past 26 years, but I'm looking forward to the new season. I'm glad to be a part of it."

Lasoski, who won the 2001 World of Outlaws Sprint Series championship, ranks second in the World of Outlaws Sprint Series point standings. "The Dude" drives 2002 NASCAR Nextel Cup champion Tony Stewart's #20 J.D. Byrider Eagle.

"Everybody came together and we're ready to move forward," Dollansky said. "The World of Outlaws Sprint Series will be much stronger with Boundless working with it."

Dollansky, who drove the #7 VMAC Maxim to victory at I-55 Raceway, ranks seventh in the World of Outlaws Sprint Series standings. "The Crowd Pleaser" won the 2000 World of Outlaws Gumout Series championship.

Kinser, the defending and 18-time World of Outlaws Sprint Series champion, leads the standings by 55 points over Lasoski. "The King of the Outlaws" has won five "A" Features this season, including the 500th of his incomparable career.

Shaffer, the 1999 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, drives the #83 Beef Packers Eagle. "The Steel City Outlaw" ranks third in the standings, one point ahead of Schatz.

Schatz, the 1997 Rookie of the Year, has driven his family's #15 Parker Store J&J into the top 10 nine times in the first 11 main events. Donny has won Preliminary Features at the Knoxville Nationals the last three years.

Pittman, the 2001 World of Outlaws Gumout Series champion, has driven the #21 Hop & Sack CMC into the top 10 in nine "A" Features and ranks fifth in the point standings.

McMahan ranks eighth in the standings, only one point behind Dollansky. Paul has driven the #11H Selma Shell Maxim into the top 10 in seven main events.

Meyers, who is one point behind McMahan, drove the #14 Elite Landscaping Maxim to victory at Perris Auto Speedway and at the Talladega Short Track earlier this year.

Sides, the 2003 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, has driven the #7 Sides Motorsports Maxim into the top five twice this season.

Saldana, who ranks 12th in the point standings, raced into the top six in five of his first six feature races in the #2 Volcano Joe's Coffee Maxim.

Paulus drove the #28 Arnold Transport Maxim to victory in the NGK Spark Plugs Shootout at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track April 3rd.

Kraig Kinser, who drives the #11K Delco-Remy Maxim for his father, Steve, leads the Rookie of the Year points race. Kraig was the runner-up in the NGK Spark Plugs Shootout.

Allard, Brown and Crocker rank 15-17 in the World of Outlaws Sprint Series point standings. Allard drives the #35 PRT Travel Maxim for Rick Wright. Brown, Lasoski's nephew, drives Lonny Parsons' #6 Casey's General Stores Maxim. Crocker, the first female driver to qualify for the Knoxville Nationals championship feature, drives former racer Mike Woodring's #16 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Maxim.

Sponsors, promoters and fans alike will no longer have to speculate which drivers will appear at which race. Strengthening the relationship between the drivers and the series is an instrumental part of the Boundless business strategy.

"The World of Outlaws Sprint Series has 26-plus years of history, but it definitely is in need of a new direction," said Craig Cormack, Boundless VP Brand Marketing. "The Outdoor Channel's national telecast coverage, recent management changes within operations and the driver contracts are all part of the plan to rejuvenate sprint car racing's premier series."
