Mads Østberg, Adapta World Rally Team (4th) said:

"Things are going OK. The road conditions are still pretty tricky so we need to keep our concentration over the rest of the rally. We had an intercom problem in the long stage [SS5] which meant we lost some time but otherwise things are good."

Martin Prokop (6th) said:

"The conditions are still very difficult. The stages are wet in places and really rough so it is hard on the car. As I said, I am still getting to grips with the characteristics of the tyres, but things are going well.

“My main aim for the weekend is to get to the finish and help DMACK develop the tyres. We’ll try and push a little tomorrow, but mainly we are just taking the opportunity to enjoy the event and get the most from the rally.”

Daniel Oliveira, Brazil World Rally Team (14th) said:

"Today’s stages have been really challenging! There were lots of ruts on the second pass and some of the impacts have been huge – it is very hard on the car. I can almost go into some corners, let go off the wheel, and it will steer itself!

“We had a small problem when the windscreen misted up after a water crossing [on SS5] – we couldn’t see anything for two minutes or so. But I am very happy to have finished what is by far the hardest day of the rally and I am feeling good.”
