M-Sport keeps Pulsar sponsor

PULSAR CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP WITH M-SPORT

Cumbrian based M-Sport, the team behind the Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) has today confirmed it will continue its partnership with the Pulsar watch brand.

The agreement will see the team provided with specially designed watches and with newly designed display clocks for the precise measurement of service times. Pulsar will benefit from a range of marketing opportunities including visibility and image rights.

Pulsar has been the official watch partner of M-Sport and the Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team since 2009, and the new contract will see the successful partnership continue until the end of 2012.

The first calculator watch in 1980 and the first all quartz watch line in 1981 were among Pulsar's early industry-leading achievements. Today, Pulsar is an internationally renowned brand with a particular expertise in durable, long-lasting chronographs, precisely the watches that a WRC team needs for a gruelling season of rallies.

Rob Wilson, Pulsar European Marketing Director said:

"To support M-Sport and the Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team has been great for our brand, and we are honoured and delighted to be able to continue the partnership for at least two more years."

Andrew Wheatley, M-Sport Business Development Manager said:

"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Pulsar -- it has been a delight to have them as our official watch partner over the past two years. Rallying is a sport that is based around the concept of time so we feel that the partnership is a natural fit. We look forward to continue working closely with Pulsar for the third consecutive year."
