Kris Meeke concluded Rally Portugal's penultimate day with a lead of 45 seconds as Andreas Mikkelsen and Sebastien Ogier shared the wins in the three afternoon stages.

Mikkelsen, who had passed Dani Sordo by the end of the morning loop, won both SS13 and SS14 and was only 2.6s slower than Ogier in SS15.

Meeke, on the other hand, did not compete for stage wins this time but maintained a safe lead over Ogier, who is only three seconds ahead of his Norwegian teammate.

Sordo stayed in fourth, a further half a minute adrift, as Eric Camilli continued to run in the top five.

Jari-Matti Latvala and Mads Ostberg also enjoyed a troublefree afternoon in sixth and seventh, with Martin Prokop taking over in eighth thanks to a puncture for WRC2 leader Pontus Tidemand.

Rally Portugal will be capped off by two runs each through two stages: the 22km Vieira do Minho run and the 11km Fafe stage.
