Wales Rally Great Britain stopped

Rally Wales Great Britain has been stopped this morning after the fatal accident occurred to the crew composed by Estonian driver Markko Martin and his British co-driver Michael Park.

Shortly after the start of the second special stage of today the Peugeot Sport crew get off the road and hit a tree with the right side of the car.

This caused the decease of the co-driver Michael Park.

The stage and the race have been stopped immediately .

"Accidents like this are terrible and unpredictable and is right to stop the race immediately" said Claudio Bortoletto responsible of the Kome Sport team. "The whole Kome Sport team is close to the family of Michael Park and to the Peugeot Sport team".

Angelo and Barbara Medeghini before the the race stopped were 5th of Production Cars.

In the next few days we will give an update of the Production World Rally Championship.
