Angelo Medeghini and Barbara Capoferri with Subaru Impreza after Wales Rally Great Britain
21 September 2005 -- Angelo and Barbara Medeghini with Subaru Impreza finished 6th of Production Cars at Wales Rally Great Britain and not 5th as previously announced, because following the meeting of the Stewards he had been given a late penalty. The Welsh rally, before stopping for the fatal accident occurred, gave to
the Kome Sport crew 3 important points for the Production Cars Championship.
Angelo and Barbara Medeghini are not going to enter Rally Japan, so their next appointment will be Rally Australia, last round of the Championship. A very demanding race that Angelo Medeghini never entered before.
"We are satisfied so far" said Angelo Medeghini "After seven years of absence, we had to regain confidence with rallies. We never entered most of the rallies before and this year helped us to know them. We entered these last races with a Subaru Impreza and we worked a lot with the MRT by Mauro Nocentini to find the best set up, and I believe that we have a competitive car now. We are also happy with the Pirelli tyres. Now we look forward to our next and last appointment of the Championship and we hope to be able to close at the best this season"
