VIP Packages Available At World Superbike Event At AA Kyalami

A number of corporate and individual VIP hospitality packages are available for round three of the World Superbike Championship, presented by Vodacom, at AA Kyalami from April 5 to 7.

A bumper weekend of world championship motor racing also includes rounds of the Supersport and Superside Sidecar world championships. The World Superbike Championship is set to provide the fastest motorcycle racing ever seen at AA Kyalami, with enthusiasts in for a weekend of high drama.

“ Run in conjunction with F1 Entertainers who for many years have operated VIP facilities at AA Kyalami, the VIP hospitality packages on offer are designed to be highly cost effective,” said AA Racing marketing co-ordinator Charmaine Fortune.“ The packages are also aimed at providing patrons with a hassle free weekend where they can take in the action in friendly surroundings.

“ Situated on the northern side of the circuit, the F1 Entertainers facilities offer prime viewing. In addition those taking advantage of the packages will also be able to take in the action via closed circuit television.”

On offer are three packages:

1 day R700 per person– Sunday breakfast, lunch and free drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and official race programme

2 day R950 per person– Saturday lunch and free drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Sunday breakfast, lunch and free drinks– including alcoholic beverages– and official race programme

3 day R1 590 per person– Friday lunch and free drinks, including alcoholic beverages, Saturday lunch and free drinks including alcoholic beverages. Sunday breakfast, lunch and free drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and official race programme

Admission for children under 12 will be free of charge.

Competitors in all three world championship categories will get down to work on Friday, April 5 with free practice and qualifying sessions from 09h30 to 17h00. There will also be free practice and qualifying sessions for all three categories on Saturday, April 6 with highlights of the day the Superpole qualifying for the World Superbikes and the Superside Sidecars.

Warm-up sessions on race day will start at 09h20 and will be followed by a pit walkabout. The first race is scheduled to start at 12h00.

And there will be a further bonus for motorsport enthusiasts with a“ Free Open Paddock” promotion on the afternoon of Thursday, April 4. Members of the public will be allowed free access into the pit and paddock area to meet riders and teams.

“ The free pit and paddock promotion on the Thursday is a new innovation, and we are sure it will prove popular and set the tone for what should be a memorable weekend of high quality world championship motor racing.” said AA Racing managing director Piet Swanepoel.
