Following the calculations based on the lap times set in USA, Japan and China, the Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T remains the reference car and will be laden by 40 kilos of compensation weight once again. And just like in the previous meeting at Shanghai, the Honda Civic cars will also run on the same maximum weight.

The weight of the BMW 320 TC has been increased as a consequence of the performance in the previous events: in Macau the German vehicles will be laden with 10 kilos of compensation weight, while in Shanghai they had run at -20.

The SEAT León will benefit once again from a weight reduction, though of only 10 kilos (it was 20 in China), while the LADA cars remain on the minimum weight minus 20 kilos.

All the normally 2-litre aspirated cars – BMW 320si, Chevrolet Cruze LT, Chevrolet Lacetti and Honda Accord – will run on the minimum weight.
