Enrico Toccacelo picked up four more points by finishing fifth in today's 35-lap race at the A1-Ring in Austria. After starting the race from seventh position on the grid, Enrico moved up into sixth after passing Schmidt on lap 22. Just a few laps later he made a fantastic manoeuvre to pass Bell for fifth position. Enrico now lies in fourth position in the Drivers' Championship with fourteen points after Ricardo Sperafico won the race ahead of Championship leader Bjorn Wirdheim.

Derek Hill who was starting from twelfth position on the grid, lost one place at the start and unfortunately had dropped down to fifteenth position by the twelfth lap. Derek was back up to thirteenth when at the start of lap 19 he spun with Nguyen and lost his front wing which put an end to his race.

Enrico Toccacelo - P5

"Another four points for today is ok, but I made a mistake yesterday in qualifying as I wanted to make a change to the setup. The car today in the race was very good but I made a mistake at the start and lost one position. I must start from the front in the next races because if I start at the front I think it will be possible to win races. At the moment the problem is in qualifying so for the next race I'm looking to finish better in qualifying."

Derek Hill - DNF

"At the start of the race I had a good run to get by Nguyen on the first straight in which he almost pushed me into the pit wall, but then I managed to get stuck behind a group of slower cars. I did not have enough speed to overtake them on the straights but I had a fast car in the corners. Piccolo made contact with me fairly hard which made the steering feel funny and after my front wing came off in the turn one incident we had had enough."

Team Manager - David Sears

"What an exciting race with lots of overtaking, spins and accidents. Enrico Toccacelo lost a place at the start but then really drove well and finished in fifth place. If he can improve his qualifying position then he's capable of winning races and fighting for the championship.

Derek Hill got involved in several squirmishes, resulting in him spinning in the first corner after an overtaking manouevre and losing his front wing and leading to retirement. Hopefully his season will improve at the next race."
