Outlaws Announce Support Series Schedule

PLANO, TX (January 31) - The World of Outlaws Support Series' inaugural season will feature 40 events over 51 dates at 26 tracks in 15 states, World of Outlaws Founder and President Ted Johnson announced Monday. "With our increased television coverage and the new tracks being built for us, it's time for us to start a support series," Johnson said. "This will provide valuable experience for the young racers. "We're going to some of the tracks that have supported us through the years and added some new ones. We're negotiating with other tracks and will add dates to the original schedule. We'll also have the Support Series teams race with us at some of our events televised live on TNN." Johnson added the series will run special events at the Terre Haute Action Track, Williams Grove Speedway and Huset's Speedway. The Support Series, to be directed by former World of Outlaws racer and official Rick Ferkel, will offer more than $160,000 in point fund and contingency awards. WoO
