Henderson impressive in first Chili Bowl appearance!
(1/12/2005 Tulsa, OK) The Prospector, Justin Henderson made his inaugural appearance at the Chili Bowl last night and turned a few heads along the way. Piloting the Donny Lehman owned #31H the new member of the World of Outlaws Mean 15 started 8th in his heat race and climbed all the way to a 3rd place finish. During Henderson's qualifier, which he started 4th in he lost a cylinder but still managed a 3rd place finish. The Prospector would have started an impressive 12th in the "A" main but a faulty oil pump forced the Sioux Falls, SD resident to opt out and get ready for Saturday nights finale.
"WOW! This was a lot of fun." said Henderson. "Donny (Lehman) and the guys gave me one fantastic race car. I think we showed exactly what we are capable of here. It's also a fantastic way to jump start our 2006 season. I was really looking forward to the "A" and I know we could have made a run at a top 5 finish but hey at least we qualified for the "A". We will just have to buckle our belts and run hard Saturday and get in the big show."
