DAVE BLANEY, NO. 20 AT&T PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (3RD):
"We had a good one all day. We just kept creeping forward. The guys did a great job in the pits. They gained spots every time and got me out second on that last stop. Man, the thing took off fast. I thought, 'I don't know if this is good or not.' I thought even after that last yellow we were alright, but then it went real tight in a hurry and I just couldn't do anymore.
"Matt (Kenseth), he ran real good. I thought we could hold him off, but it didn't end up that way."
(ON NEW CREW CHIEF ROBERT BARKER) "He did a real good job. We struggled a little bit early in practice and it wasn't real good qualifying. But then as soon as we untapped it for the race set-up it was great. I'm pretty happy for the AT&T crew. They've had a rough year and I'm glad we could run good for them. I just wish we could have gotten one for them, though."
ROBERT BARKER, CREW CHIEF, NO. 20 AT&T PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (3RD):
(ON HIS FIRST RACE AS A CREW CHIEF) "I'm pleased for my first try, but I wish we could have won it. You always want to win. You know how it is. "We just got a little too tight on that last run to be able to do anything with Matt (Kenseth). But you've got to start somewhere and this is a pretty good place to start."
