Mooresville, NC -- Doug Randolph has been named Crew Chief of the No. 10 Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus Team at ppc Racing. Randolph comes to ppc Racing from the No. 41 Winston Cup Team of Chip Ganassi. Randolph will assume crew chief duties effective immediately to prepare for the upcoming 2003 NASCAR Busch Series season.
Greg Pollex, co-owner of ppc Racing, is impressed with Randolph's credentials and is confident that Randolph will be the perfect fit for the ppc Racing.
"Doug will be a great addition to the No. 10 team roster," said Pollex. "He is driven to succeed like the rest of the guys on the Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus and I believe his professional manner will be an asset to the entire team. He has proven his level of commitment to the teams he has worked with and I think he is the leader we need to take us back to victory lane."
Randolph returns to the Busch series where he began his racing career working part time for L.D. Ottinger.
"I am thrilled to work with a team that has such a winning tradition," said Randolph. "I am really excited to have the opportunity to work with a driver like Scott Riggs and the ppc Racing organization."
