Tops Friendly Markets joins forces with Paul Wolfe and Tommy Baldwin Racing North.

Mooresville, N.C. (January 27, 2003) -- Tommy Baldwin Racing North, a subsidiary of Tommy Baldwin Racing, who owns and operates the NASCAR Busch South #6 STA-RITE Dodge, announced today that they have teamed up with Tops Friendly Markets and driver Paul Wolfe for the 2003 NASCAR Busch North season.

Tops Friendly Markets, based in Williamsville, NY, operates 156 supermarkets throughout upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio. Many of Tops customers are avid fans of racing at all levels of the sport, making the Paul Wolfe sponsorship a perfect fit for both organizations. Race fans will know Tops from their presence at Watkins Glen International Speedway, where they have operated a temporary supermarket during NASCAR events for the past three seasons.

"We are very excited about our opportunity with Tops for the 2003 season. Tops is a prominent company in the Northeast, and we plan on creating an alliance with them that will allow our organization to cultivate Paul's career into the future," said co-owner Eddie D'Hondt.

Wolfe, a 25-year-old native of Milford, NY, is eager about his new opportunity. "We are surrounding ourselves with the best-of-the-best this season. We have a great sponsor on board and the influence and support of fellow New York natives, Tommy Baldwin and Eddie D'Hondt is invaluable. We are excited about the prospects of 2003."

In addition to running a limited Busch North schedule, Wolfe will also pilot the Tops Dodge in three Winston West series races, the first at Phoenix International Speedway on February 2nd.

"We've kept a close eye on the development of Paul for a while now," said co-owner Tommy Baldwin. "We look forward to giving him the opportunities he needs to further develop his talents."

The Tops Racing Team will operate out of Mooresville, NC, along with the TBR Busch South entry. They plan on competing in Busch North races at Watkins Glen International Speedway, Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway, Lake Erie Speedway, Adirondack Speedway, New Hampshire International Speedway, Dover International Speedway, Lime Rock Park and Holland International Raceway. Winston West entries include California Speedway and two visits to Phoenix International Raceway.
