FORMULA MASTER RACING SERIES COMING TO AUSTRALASIA AND ASIA
The highly successful formula master's championship is aiming to be held in a standalone series in Australasia and Asia.
This new series will start in New Zealand in March 2008 with events also planned in Australia, China, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Didier Debae Managing Director of Sub Latitude Racing Series Group Limited said "The series will be based entirely on the same technical and sporting regulations as the International Formula Master Series. The Formula Master car is designed to provide a good balance between quality, price and performance, assuring high technology and modest running costs. This is a high-performance formula designed to allow driving talent to shine. No other series in the South Pacific region gives drivers a possibility to be measured or compared to other formulas running in the European and American regions this could be a stepping stone to hone drivers for bigger formulas "GP2, Champ Cars, Indy Cars and Formula One".
