Pace Electronics, HeluvaGood Foods to Sponsor Branich in 2002

Syracuse, NY - At the Carquest Motorsports Expo held in Syracuse this past weekend, it was announced that Williamson based Branich Motorsports will again participate in the Central New York Mini Sprint (CNYMS) tour in 2002. Driver Mike Emhof of Sodus, NY, was recognized at the CNYMS banquet in Johnstown last fall for his runner-up finish in CNYMS series points last year. Emhof finished in the top ten in eight races won three features. He remains the winningest driver on the tour over the past four years. He was also the CNYMS Challenge Cup champion in 2001.

Branich Motorsports is pleased to announce that Pace Electronic Products, Sodus, NY, a worldwide distributor of electronics components, will remain the primary sponsor of the team's 2002 effort. In addition to its Sodus location, Pace has facilities in Irvine, California, and the Far East, and has recently completed construction of 115,000 sq. ft. contract assembly complex in Heshan City, Guangdong, South China. Pace is the largest stocking representative of passive electronic components in the North America. Finished product assemblies from Pace are used in appliance controls, emergency lighting and "exit" signs, C.A.T.V. converters, telecommunications devices, security equipment, and battery chargers.

Heluva Good Foods, Inc. will again a major sponsor for the upcoming season, and Father Time, the bespectacled, bearded caricature and symbol of Heluvaâ Good will adorn the team's twin mini sprints. "Celebrating 75 years of great taste," Heluva Good is headquartered in Sodus, NY, and is known for its line of cheeses, dips, condiments, and other dairy products. Expansion has led to facilities in Albany and Wolcott, NY, Charlton, MA, Youngstown, OH, Allentown, PA, and Richmond, VA. Heluvaâ Good products can be found in dairy cases throughout Michigan, Ohio, New York, Delaware, New England, Virginia, and part of the Southeast region of the country, as well as all of Canada. Today, Heluva Good is part of the Crowly Foods, Inc. family, owned by Wessanen USA and Koninklijke Wessamen in the Netherlands.

Returning as major sponsors for the upcoming season are Wayne Regional Orthopaedics, PLLC, and Finger Lakes Hand Surgery, PLLC. Located at The Commons in Williamson, NY. In addition to providing a full range of orthopaedic and hand surgical services in the Finger Lakes Region of the state, the companies provides occupational medicine services, and on-site x-ray and bone density measuring capabilities.

"We are very excited about our sponsor support for the 2002 season," commented Emhof. "With that support, we have been able to make some upgrade our motor program, and with that, we hope to remain competitive on the tour."
