"Georgia native set to defend track title this season"

(Canton, GA - May 29, 2002) Bobby Turner and the #31 Millwood Motorpsorts team are making another consistent effort by consistently finishing in the top-5 and top-10 thus far this season. Turner is coming off a career season in 2001 when he took winner honors in the UDTRA PRO DirtCar Series and claimed his second track championship at Dixie Speedway and is certainly aiming for another repeat season.

"We have been a little off with our set-ups so far this season, but I feel confident that we will get better in the next few events. We have had some real good finishes already, and a win is coming soon," quotes Turner from his race hauler at Dixie Speedway.

In four events at Dixie Speedway in the 2002 season, Bobby has set fast time twice, with 2 top-5, and 2 top-10 finishes. Turner has also recorded consecutive back-to back 3rd place finishes at North Georgia Speedway and another 3rd place finish at Stateline Speedway in Ringgold, GA.

Turner and his Millwood Plumbing team plan on competing at their home track of Dixie Speedway for the remainder of the season as well as other events scattered throughout Georgia."We will be racing at Sugar Creek Speedway, North Georgia Speedway, and Stateline Speedway this year again," comments Turner."Wherever there is a race, we will be there!" Turner is also planning on defending his home turf and UDTRA win in July when the national touring returns to Dixie Speedway."Most definitely we will be here for the UDTRA race. I feel good about our chances, and we are ready for them," comments Bobby.

Bobby's racing efforts are sponsored by Millwood Plumbing, a residential and commercial plumbing company based out of Acworth, GA serving the metro Atlanta and north Georgia areas along with JP Drilling. Turner's engines are powered by Ernie Elliott Racing Engines out of Dawsonville, GA along with Draime Racing Engines and will be campaigning both Ford Taurus' and Chevrolet Monte Carlos' this season.

Bobby Turner and his Millwood Plumbing team will be in action this weekend at Dixie Speedway for the famed track's regular weekly show. Forthcoming information on Bobby Turner can be found at www.victorylanecommunications.com
