Notes: Dennis Strickland led the first six laps before Chuck Roumell overtook him for the lead. Several laps later fast qualifier Harold Fair Jr completed a move around Strickland for second. Fair Jr and Roumell put on a spirited battle for the remainder of the race but Fair Jr was unable to get around the veteran driver. Current Toledo points leader Strickland's car hit the backstretch wall when a caliper broke on his mount.

Notes: Harold Fair Jr became the first sportsman driver to surpass the 100 mph in qualifying. He had a lap of 17.83 seconds which equates to 100.95 mph on the high banked half mile oval. Ron Allen held back a determined Fair Jr to post his ninth victory of the season.
