New venues will spice USAC's 2004 Western Sprint Car Series schedule, which again includes the second season of Port-O-Call Rocky Mountain Sprint Car competition at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Michael Lewis of Noblesville, Ind. is the defending champion of the Valvoline Western Series, which opens April 24 at Madera (Calif.) Speedway, while Jim Waters of Salt Lake City, Utah is the defending titlist in the Port-O-Call Rocky Mountain Series, which begins May 8 in the Utah capital.
