Ansell to Sponsor Chicagoland ARCA RE/MAX Series Race on August 28
TALLADEGA, Ala. (April 24, 2009)--Officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America, Chicagoland Speedway and Ansell Protective Products, Inc. announced today that Ansell will sponsor the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Chicagoland Speedway on August 28, 2009. The Ansell Cut Protection 150, race 16 of the 22-race ARCA RE/MAX Series, rolls off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday, August 28, live on SPEED.

The Ansell Cut Protection 150 marks the first time that Ansell, the world-wide leader in protective hand wear, has provided title sponsorship of an ARCA RE/MAX Series race event. Ansell will use the event entitlement to promote the company's extensive line of hand protection products.

The Ansell Cut Protection 150 marks the ARCA RE/MAX Series' ninth appearance to Chicagoland Speedway since 2001. Former ARCA RE/MAX Series winners at the track include Ed Berrier, Dawayne Bryan, Chad Blount, Frank Kimmel, Kyle Krisiloff, Scott Lagasse, Jr., Michael McDowell and Steve Wallace.
Practice for the Ansell Cut Protection 150 is scheduled for Thursday, August 27. Qualifying is on Friday at 12:05 p.m. The Ansell Cut Protection 150 will take the green flag at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 28, and will serve as a preamble for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event later that evening. The Indy Racing League will close out August race weekend at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, August. 29.
