NEW YORK, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas Megas, President and CEO of MARCH INDY INTERNATIONAL, INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: INDQ), announces that MARCH has signed a five-year contract with Stefan Johansson as the Director of Racing and as a member of MARCH's Board of Directors. Stefan Johansson is one of the leading motorsport drivers in the world today, having won the 1999 Le Mans Grand Prix among many other races for Ferrari and Porsche. In assuming his new position as MARCH's Director of Racing, Johansson stated, "I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be part of the development of MARCH." Stefan joins Robin Herd, known in racing circles as "Mr. Motorsport", as the heads of the MARCH auto racing program. March.com, a division of MARCH, was born from the legendary MARCH racing team, which is the only racing team in history to win five consecutive Indianapolis 500 races. MARCH intends to commence its 2000 season on April 23 in the Las Vegas 500, followed in May with the Indy 500. Messrs. Johansson and Herd are making a serious commitment for expansion of MARCH's 2000 racing program. MARCH has contracted with GMR Marketing of New Berlin, Wisconsin, one of the world's leading event sports marketing firms, to represent MARCH in the development of trackside and event marketing programs; this is the initial step in MARCH's goal to secure significant sponsorship revenues.
