SKUSA has named Brian Lockwood as Executive Producer of Broadcasting to bring many years of Directing and Production experience to focus on all aspects of taking SKUSA racing to the general public.

Jim Murley, President / CEO of SKUSA says that Brian has been involved with SKUSA for the past three years as a consultant and director of limited production of SKUSA events. Murley went on to say "after two years of hard work in the sport to refine the program and polish the show, it's time to take it to the people."

SKUSA has targeted the ProMoto event in Barrie, Ontario, Canada for television production since the event there last summer. "In the streets, on the banks of the lake with 10's of thousands of spectators, this can be the Monaco of shifter karting and a beautiful setting for television" said Murley.

With the commitment made and plans underway it is very important that this, and future television efforts be directed by skilled and experienced professionals. Brian, an avid karting enthusiast and participant himself, brings a broad and impressive portfolio to this position. Currently working on an 11 race NASCAR package for FOX, Brian's professional highlights in motor sports alone include: The Indy 500, The Daytona 500, The California 500, The Michigan 500 and the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Brian's broad base of experience extends beyond motor sports and include live music performances, documentaries and videos for: Elton John, Jon Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Eric Clapton and Van Halen to name a few.

"As a natural communicator with strong leadership skills, Brian fits the mold" said Murley. "At this stage of the game it is vital that we have the right people putting the programs and production into motion" Murley went on to say.

Brian will immediately take the reins and finalize SKUSA's immediate efforts and develop the programs for an aggressive effort to bring greater public awareness to this exciting sport. "With increasing corporate interest and involvement in the concept of youth motor sports development and, the exciting nature of the sport itself, there will never be a better time to start!" says Murley.
