CV Products Recognizes Top Engine Builders
Program Rewards 2001 USAR Hooters ProCup Series Involvement

Atlanta, Georgia (January 12, 2002)– CV Products has recognized the top engine builders from both Northern and Southern Divisions of the USAR Hooters ProCup Series in 2001. The program is designed to reward the top-five engine builders from each division for their performance throughout the season based on overall performance.

Jay Dickens Engines and Automotive Specialists each collected top honors from their respective divisions and the first-place prize of $1,000 from CV Products. Jay Dickens Engines captured honors from the Northern Division while Automotive Specialists captured the recognition from the Southern Division.

A total of five engine builders from each division are recognized by CV Products and receive awards based on their performance. CV Products has been a sponsor of the USAR Hooters ProCup Series for several years and enjoys its close relationship with the short track touring series.

"The USAR Hooters ProCup Series is not only comprised of talented drivers and teams, it also attracts some of the best engine builders in the country,” said CV Products sponsor representative Brian Cole.“ We are proud to offer an engine builder award such as this because it enables us to give back to those who support us year after year."

The following engine builders have received part of a total purse of $5,200 by CV Products: <pre> Northern Division Southern Division

1. Jay Dickens Engines $1,000 1. Automotive Specialists $1,000

2. Labonte Racing Engines $750 2. Premiere Motorsports $750

3. Kowalsky Enignes $500 3. H-W Motorsports $500

4. Barnes & Rease $250 4.Racing Engines Development $250

5. Wally’s Racing Engines $100 5. Diamond Racing Engines $100
