Speedvision to broadcast entire 2001 season

</pre> DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 9, 2001) - The Grand American Road Racing Association announced that all of the races in its 2001 season will be broadcast on Speedvision, with five of the races being covered live. Grand-Am's second season will kick off on February 3, by making history at the Rolex 24 At Daytona where Speedvision will air the race from flag-to-flag in a historic 25-hour broadcast.

Other Grand-Am races to be broadcast live in their entirety include the Nextel 250 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, March 3, and the Sun Automotive 250 at the Phoenix International Raceway, April 21.

Two Grand-Am races will feature live broadcast of the Sports Racing Prototype (SRP) and Sports Racing Prototype II (SRPII) classes, while the GT, GTS and American GT (AGT) will be shown at a later date. The SRP and SRPII classes will be broadcast live at the Dodge Dealer's Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park (Conn.), May 28, and the Grand Prix de Trois Rivieres in Quebec, August 5.

The Grand-Am Finale, which will be raced for the first time at Daytona International Speedway, is also scheduled to be broadcast live by Speedvision, September 16.
