Specter Werkes/Sports Prepared for Watkins Glen 24 Cauley Corvette GTR to continues Highlander DVD Promotion

Detroit -- June 16, 2004 In conjunction with Cauley Chevrolet, a Michigan Chevrolet dealer, Specter Werkes Sports today announced it will enter the #24 Cauley Corvette GTR presented by Highlander to the 2004 Rolex Sports Car Series Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the historic Watkins Glen 3.4-mile, 11-turn permanent road course in scenic New York (SPEED Channel - Part 1, 11 a.m. ET, Part 2, 3 p.m. ET).

"We are very excited to continue with the Highlander promotional tie-in at the Glen," said Cauley President, Jeff Cauley. "This is a great way to bring our effort to the front of the field both competitively and promotionally. Our Daytona effort was a tremendous success promoting the Highlander, Xena and Hercules TV series box sets on DVD. This is proving to be a perfect marketing combination for Highlander and for our racing program with Specter Werkes."

"This is a great opportunity for the Highlander folks," added Tom Bambard. "We monitored the results of our promotions in Daytona and it was everything we hoped it would be. This week we will continue to tie-in with local Best Buy stores in Amherst, Rochester, Ithaca and Syracuse. We'll also make an appearance at BJAM Country Music Festival. We're extremely pleased to be working with an experienced group like Specter Werkes and Cauley. Promotionally, this is a win-win situation all the way around."

The #24 Cauley Corvette GTR presented by Highlander will be driven by 1993 SCCA GT Champion and President of Specter Werkes, Jeff Nowicki of Birmingham, Michigan and NASCAR Craftsman Truck series driver, Tom Bambard of South Lyon, Michigan.

In addition to Cauley and The Highlander, the team continues to receive support from Very Berry Exotics. "We had a great experience with the Specter Werkes team at this years 24 Hours of Daytona," said owner, Richard Berry. "We're really looking forward to continued success at Watkins Glen."

Other team support is provided by: GM Performance Parts, Mobil 1, Moroso, ET Performance, Weldon Racing Pumps, Hawk Performance and Tremec Transmissions.
