Victoria Motorsports Launches AGT Effort

Wilton, CT- Victoria Motorsports Inc. of Far Hills, NJ announced today that company founder and President, Frank Cioppettini, will compete in the entire 2004 American GT Road Racing Series driving its # 6 yellow and black 2002 Chevrolet Camaro.

Cioppettini returns to Professional racing after a three year hiatus. "I am thrilled to be competing with such a wonderful group and can't wait for the first race at Carolina Motorsports Park on April 11th. This series is in its infancy but has unlimited potential and I am confident that its management is focused on doing what's right for the competitors, the fans and the promoters" stated a jubilant Cioppettini.

Affectionately known as "The Chairman of the Board" Cioppettini's racing career spans 15 years with over 100 Professional and amateur career starts with 10 victories, 5 poles and several track records mostly in big bore GT cars.

Stan Peters will be the Crew Chief and will direct the preparation of the car from Victoria Motorsports' Mooresville, NC race shop. Stan was the Crew Chief for Brian Simo's Trans Am Championship winning effort and previously worked with Cioppettini's Trans Am teams. Engineering services will be supplied by long time consultant Joe Stimola. Engines will be supplied by CRD out of Concord, NC.

Sponsorship will be from Clover Enterprises LP a real estate investment holding company with commercial properties located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The company seeks acquisitions of income producing real estate along the eastern seaboard.

The American GT Challenge will open its inaugural season at South Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, South Carolina April 10 through 11th. The American GT Challenge uses purpose built tube frame chassis cars, power by a V-8 & V-6 engine, with composite bodies, replicating series produced American touring or grand touring cars.
