JDC MotorSports re-signs Chris Miller

MILLER REJOINS JDC MOTORSPORTS FOR STAR MAZDA SEASON-OPENER
American will run a limited campaign in 2011 as he focuses on his education

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (February 7, 2011) - JDC MotorSports is pleased to announce that Minnesota native Chris Miller will return to the cockpit for the 2011 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear season-opener on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla. The talented young American rejoins the multiple series champion in late March as part of a limited campaign this coming season.

With the goal of commencing the 2011 Star Mazda season with a visit to victory lane, JDC MotorSports has confirmed Miller will rejoin the championship-winning squad for Round One of the 11-race title chase during the IZOD IndyCar Series St. Petersburg Grand Prix. As part of a planned multi-car effort by the Minnesota-based team, Miller will join yet to be named drivers under the JDC awning seeking to build on a solid rookie campaign in the highly-competitive Mazda Road to Indy series that featured five top-10s en route to fifth in the rookie standings. JDC MotorSports earned a podium finish in the inaugural race on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., last season.

"We are very privileged to continue our long association with Chris Miller and the Miller Milling Company," stated JDC MotorSports Team Principal John Church. "Chris is a class act and always brings a positive attitude. We look forward to building on Chris's rookie season and bringing him his first win in Star Mazda."

"I'm excited to be back with JDC to build on what we did last year," commented Miller. "Although I'm not running the full season, I am confident we can achieve some good results. JDC is the premier team in the the Star Mazda Championship and I am glad we could put something together."

Miller, unlike his rookie season in which he contested every round, will only run selected races in 2011, as he focuses on his post-secondary education. The 2009 F2000 Championship Series champion - winning a series-high four races with JDC - from Edina, MN., is beginning pursuit of a Law degree, upon graduating from the University of Minnesota. Miller's 2011 season will again feature support from Miller Milling and Red Line Oil.

Prior to the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear season-opener in St. Petersburg, Fla., JDC MotorSports will take part in official series testing at Barber Motorsports Park on March 14-15, as part of the INDYCAR Spring Training program.
