                 Top flite Rotax driver gets top Tony Kart ride

St-Bruno Quebec Canadian Rotax Sr. driver Devin Cunningham has signed a deal to race for the potent SH Karting team in the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels and the Coupe de Montreal series.

"It is great to be with a quality team like SH Karting," Cunningham said. "It's great to know you have the support of one of the strongest teams in North America. There expertise with Tony Karts and engine and tuning is second to none."

Cunningham spent most of his life living in Singapore and Malaysia, and has won numerous Asian Championships while living there. "It will be good to race here, and I expect the competition level to be quite high," Cunningham added. "I have heard a lot of good things about both series and I can't wait for the season to get underway."

Gary Werve, of SH Karting is excited about running the 'unknown to Canadian' but extremely talented driver. "We are happy to have Devin join us at SH Karting and are looking forward to a successful year with him."

Cunningham, upon returning from Singapore ran the final Coupe de Montreal race of 2004 at St. Hilaire Karting circuit in an SH Karting prepared Tony Kart/Rotax combination and he won that event, which gives him high hopes for 2005. "I have been working hard to get ready mentally and physically, it should be a good year. I have a great chassis, and a first rate team in SH Karting, it's now up to me to put it on the front line."

Devin Cunningham is a 17 Year-old karter from St-Bruno Quebec. He started racing in 1998 in cadet, and has dominated in every class and championship he's entered including the 2000 Ford Malaysia karting championship, the 2002 TVR Sports Malaysia karting championship and the 2003 and 2004 Morac Rotax Max Challenge. At the RotaxMax World Finals held in Egypt in 2004, he was in the top five before mechanical issues ended his World Championship bid.
