KASEY KAHNE QUOTES:

"Sure, I'm disappointed with the results the past two races, but it's important to remember the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger was in the top 10 in both races when we had problems. At California, it was a mechanical problem. At Las Vegas, we were running eighth when the accident occurred.

"We're excited Atlanta is the next stop on our schedule. It's one of my favorite tracks. It has multiple grooves, so you can run high, low or in the middle. I like to move around on the track during the race, searching for a different and faster line. The track is wide and fast. It's the perfect place for our team to get back on track and challenge for our first win of the season."

QUICK FACTS

* Kahne and the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW crew first established their dominance of mile and a half tracks by qualifying on the pole and winning the spring Nextel Cup race at Atlanta last season.

* Atlanta was Kahne's first of six victories in 2006.

* Kahne's average starting position at Atlanta is 10.7, with an average finish of 14.5.

* He has led a total of 89 laps at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
