Starting Position: 5th
Did you pick up any speed from practice? "We ran about the same speed. A little bit quicker. A lot of times that's a good thing because sometimes it's hard to back up your time. You think just cause you ran it once, you can do it again . But, it doesn't always end up bei ng like that. We were tight in our practice run. Just still a little bit too tight there to get a pole. Overall, it was a pretty decent lap. We just came up a little short."
Did you have any handling or tire problems? "We've always had a little bit of a problem on entry here, anyway being a little bit free. You come down the straight-away and kind of fall off down in a hole, and the car gets really light there. I don' t know if that's a tire issue. I think Goodyear has got a very good tire. It seems like it has a lot of grip and a lot of good drive. The tire has a little more stagger and a couple of subtle things. Overall, our car seems to be pretty decent."

JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 11th
Can you talk about your qualifying effort? "I'll take that. Compared to the last three or four weeks, that's night and day better for our qualifying effort. I'll take that. The track changed a little bit, about what we expected. I felt like I was pretty loose. This place will take your breath away in a heartbeat. It was a little bit too loose. I got beat probably first half of the corner. Second half, I felt like I was okay, which is the part you're gonna want to be better anyway. Just not real secure back to throttle. We'll take it. We made a pretty long run earlier in practice and times stayed up there pretty good. So far everything is on track."
Is it challenging to qualify at each race track? "Some more than others. It's challenging no matter what. Some will just take your breath away more than others. After every mock run I made I was like, Whew.' And I made two laps this time. And I was really not breathing. I can't hold my breath long enough."

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 83 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Red Bull Racing Team
Starting Position: 12th
How was your qualifying run? "It was okay. We would like to be a little bit better. I think that was a decent lap. We improved a little bit from practice and I think the track is slower. So, I think we improved more than most. Hopefully, it will stay in the top-10. It's going to be tight. Maybe we'll wind up 15th. I really feel like we have a good race package. We made two race runs this morning and felt good about that."
How was your qualifying run? "I think qualifying is important. Track position is definitely important here, but now with the double-file restarts I think track position is not as important as it was. I think a good car for the race is more important. This track, depending on the tire -- and it looks like we have a good tire -- starts to rubber up that bottom, the groove will move up."
What's the key to getting a good finish Sunday? "Being there at the end of the race, for starters. Not making any mistakes. And, obviously having a good car. Things happen really quick here. You can get caught up in somebody else's incident very quickly. It's easy to make a mistake here yourself. You're on such an edge going around the race track here or making a lap, that it's really easy to make a mistake."

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 13th
Was your car as loose in qualifying as you were in practice? "No. We tightened it up. So, that's an improvement. We picked up time from our practice times. I'm pretty happy about that and I don't think many cars have. So, at least we'll move up, hopefully, in the standings." Will that also apply to your car in race trim? "I hope so. I hope whatever they did we'll apply for race trim because we really struggled pretty much all day to find some speed. Whatever they did is obviously an improvement."
