New York, N.Y. -- December 2,1994-- TNN: The Nashville Network has teamed up with AMC Events of Atlanta, Ga., to produce NASCARWorld, the official interactive fan event for NASCAR enthusiasts. The announcement was made jointly today by David Hall, Senior Vice President, Cable Networks, Gaylord Entertainment Company, and George Pyne, Executive Director of AMC Events.

NASCARWorld kicks off its 1995 tour, February 15-19, at Daytona International Speedway, for NASCAR's Daytona 500. TNN's involvement will include attraction development, promotional support, celebrity appearances, interactive media exhibits, and on-site telecasts of TNN programming.

"The potential for NASCARWorld is tremendous," said Mr. Hall. "NASCARWorld is a natural extension of our commitment to bring the fans up-close and personal with the sport. We will be utilizing all our resources and firing the booster rockets to make NASCARWorld an incredible attraction NASCAR fans will not want to miss."

"We are very excited about the promotional value that TNN brings to NASCARWorld," said Mr. Pyne. "We are looking forward to our 1995 tour, and through TNN and its dominant motorsports programming, we will be able to reach race fans on a weekly basis."

NASCARWorld made its debut in 1994 at festivities surrounding the inaugural Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The ultimate insider experience for fans of NASCAR, the 250,000 square foot exhibit allows fans to crew on pit row, explore stock car transporters, oversee a NASCAR inspection, drive a stock car simulator, call a race, and celebrate in victory lane.
