Coleman's Day Takes Different Turn
Driver knocked out early, comes back to finish 31st

(Loudon, N.H.) June 30, 2008 - After qualifying 15th for his first race at the Magic Mile, Brad Coleman and the No. 27 Kleenex Ford Fusion were ready to make some magic of their own.

Coleman's day at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, however, came apart quickly when the No. 66 of Steven Wallace bumped Coleman from the rear on lap two, spinning him out as they headed down the back stretch.

"I'm disappointed with the way things turned out today," said Coleman. "It was really early in the race and there was no need for that to happen. I don't think it was on purpose, but nonetheless it still happened. Next thing I know I am sliding sideways down the track and into the mud. I wish things had turned out different, but we will just have to get ready for Daytona."

Disappointed that his day was spoiled so early, Coleman and the No. 27 Kleenex crew returned to the track and used the laps at New Hampshire to better prepare themselves for other short track races this season.

"It was a difficult day for us out there on the track," said Shawn Parker, crew chief. "We had a good car and we weren't able to prove what we were capable of this weekend. We just have to use what we learned on each lap here to strengthen our short track program at Baker Curb."

The No. 27 Kleenex Ford team will be in action under the lights in the sunshine state as they compete at Daytona International Speedway on July 4th.
