Warsaw, Ind. - ML Motorsports will be running the No. 70 Foretravel Chevrolet at the June 4th event in the Inaugural STP 300 race at Chicagoland Speedway with Scott Wimmer behind the wheel once again.

The STP 300 is a stand-alone event with the Cup series racing at Kansas Speedway but will be raced in conjunction with the ARCA Series and is scheduled as a Saturday night event under the lights beginning at 7:00 pm.

Wimmer, fresh off a 15th place finish at Iowa Speedway brings plenty of experience to ML Motorsports with 217 starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Wimmer has six wins, 29 top five and 74 top ten finishes to his credit in the Nationwide Series and currently stands 21st in driver points.

The Mary Louise Miller owned ML Motorsports is 25th in Owner Points. “I am really looking forward to this weekend we had a great start at Iowa Speedway and looking to build on it going to Chicagoland Speedway” says Wimmer. “It takes time to get better with a new team and I think we have found that right away; hopefully we can run strong! This is a great race with it being a weekend where the Cup Series isn’t running hopefully we can find our way to the front. The team has been working very hard on their cars and I think we have a real good shot at a strong finish”
