KORETSKY SWITCHING TO DODGE, STICKING WITH HANS

Atlanta, Georgia (September 19th, 2008) -- Kenny Koretsky Racing is changing to the Dodge brand for this weekend's NHRA Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex. But team owner and longtime NHRA Pro Stock participant Kenny Koretsky is standing by his HANS Device.

After back-to-back first round losses at Indianapolis and Charlotte, Korestky decided it was time to switch manufacturers. "We've got the first round blues," he said. "We wanted to see if we can find some more performance." Richie Stevens will continue to pilot the Nitro Fish/Indicom Electric entries.

Following his crash this summer at Heartland Park Topeka, Koretsky is not sure when he will return to driving chores. The veteran Pro Stock driver's car was traveling 160 mph on its roof when it hit the wall. Koretsky credits the HANS Device for saving him from any serious injury to his head or neck. "I had no neck or head pain," he said. "I would never consider getting into a race car again without wearing the HANS Device."

A resident of Richboro, PA, Koretsky said commitments to his construction business have led to the postponement of his return to the cockpit. He has taken the role of trackside cheerleader during Final Eliminations for the three Nitro Fish Apparel-backed competitors. In addition to Stevens, who qualified fourth at the Max Dragway last weekend, that includes Matt Smith in Pro Stock Motorcycles and Top Fuel driver Clay Millican.

Drivers in drag racing can now use the Vision Advantage PLUS sliding tether system. The new sliding tether system permits improvements in left and right visibility by allowing easy but controlled rotation of a racer's helmet. The proven results are tethers that allow over four times the field of view versus competing head and neck restraints.
