Englishtown, pre race: The Wiseguys hope to continue their romp at Englishtown coming off their best performance to date in the Bruce's Super Body Shops Corvette at Atlanta two weeks ago. The team plans to step up with the addition of a new Waterman fuel pump in hopes of squeezing off their first four on Englishtown's near perfect track. This goal should be within reach for the team in light of their five flat at 304 mph at Atlanta. The Tootees chassis Corvette has been steadily improving since it's debut at Richmond.

Weis said "We really are very happy at this point, and are optimistic that this big Waterman pump will give us plenty of fuel to deal with these engine destroying lean outs that we have been experiencing. The car is really working well, and has no problem handling as much power as we are able to make. If we can get these last few bugs out of the fuel system and are able to keep the engine lit and together, this coupled with our new clutch should make us able to step up and be competitive with anyone that we draw. I'm looking forward to my second visit to E Town as I qualified well here last year in my first time at the race, and ran a personal best to date at this event. A feat which I hope to repeat this weekend."

"I want to say a special thanks to Bruce's Super Body Shops, Tootees Race Cars, Bonnifante's Clutches, and the Wiseguys and Wisegirls for all their support."
