CRANDON, Wis. (June 24, 2000) - Local racer Jeff Kincaid led wire-to-wire in his Pro-Lite Toyota Tacoma in the third round of the Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) series in Crandon, Wis., today. Johnny Greaves of DePere, Wis., finished seventh in his new Pro-2 Toyota Tundra, while Rod Millen dominated the Pro-4 race in his four-wheel-drive Tundra until a mechanical problem ended his day.

Kincaid, a local from Crandon, Wis., won his fifth career Pro-Lite event after sweeping the first two events in Antigo, Wis., on June 10-11. He starting seventh in the famous "land rush" start at Crandon and was in third place by the all-important first turn. Once Kincaid took the lead at turn two, he never looked back in leading the entire race. He finished six seconds in front of fellow Toyota Tacoma racer Chris Brandt.

"Chris [Brandt] had me at the start," Kincaid said. "But I wasn't going to let up going into the first turn."

Millen, a native of New Zealand who resides in Newport Beach, Calif., got an amazingly quick jump from the start and had a sizeable lead at turn one. He pulled away from the field during his first three laps but had to pull into the pits on lap three with a broken universal joint, which ended his day.

Johnny Greaves, a local competitor from DePere, Wis., also parlayed a great start from 12th position to the lead pack. He was running in fourth place on lap three when a fuel-feed problem shut down the truck. Greaves was able to get restarted and work his way back through part of the Pro-2 field to finish in seventh place.

Millen, Greaves and Kincaid will each compete in Sunday's fourth round at The Brush Run in Crandon. Round Three will be broadcast on ESPN2 on July 8, while Sunday's race will be broadcast on July 9.
