Driving the Citroen DS3 Supercar in which his father won back-to-back World Rallycross titles in 2014 and 2015, the 15-year old led a rain-hit final to secure victory and move into the championship lead.
Experienced crosskart racer Solberg qualified second at the Intermediate Classification to Thomas Bryntesson, both drivers winning their semi-finals to start on the front row for the final.
As Bryntesson made a poor start from pole position, Solberg led into the first corner and fended off early pressure from Ola Froshaug and then Bryntesson.
Entered under a Latvian license to allow him to race in the Scandinavian series, Solberg took his joker on lap five and remained in the lead, having been relieved of pressure after Bryntesson spun.
Victory in his only his second rallycross Supercar start means Solberg leads the RallyX Nordic standings by three points from Bryntesson.
“I’m so happy,” he said. “The day went clean and fine with no big mistakes. There were a lot of little mistakes in the final, but I'm so pleased. I was so afraid that it got so wet, I have never driven (the Supercar) in the rain before, but it worked well.”
Solberg won the R2 class on Rally Talsi in Latvia a fortnight ago, driving a Peugeot 208 R2, co-driven by Veronica Engan, who is also working with the youngster in his rallycross programme.
Former European Rallycross Champion and touring car ace Tommy Rustad is managing the Oliver Solberg Rallycross Team on events this season.
