Michelin Porsche Club Championship leader Peter Morris picks up his fourth win of the season

Peter Morris [968CS] drove a spectacular race in the Bank Holiday Monday Michelin Porsche Club event, which formed part of the Porsche Festival '04 at Brands Hatch.

His dominant win came after starting from fourth on the grid and he put the 911's of Ian White and Tony Brown under pressure right from the start before passing them on consecutive laps in dramatic moves around Druids. A pace car incident 10 minutes from the end of the 40 minute race, saw the 911's of Brown and White once again back in contention, but Morris drove the best race of his career to pick up his fourth win of the season, and sees him adding valuable points to his Championship contention.

Race 1 the day before was shortened to 16 minutes after two re-starts and saw Club returnee Tony Brown [911] collect the win, with Ian White [911] 2nd & Chris Egginton [968CS] 3rd.

The first of the two 4-Cylinder Trophy races saw Peter Morris clinch the win after a four car battle between the 968CS's and 944 Turbo's resulted in Chris Egginton [968CS] making contact with race leader David Botterill [944 Turbo] at Druids and Morris taking the lead. Race 2 was won by the 944 Turbo of Wayne Jackson, with Egginton & Morris 2nd and 3rd.
