Pflueger Looking Forward to 2007 SCORE Season

Honolulu, Hawaii (January 2, 2007) - Alan Pflueger and his Monster Energy Drink racing team are entering the 2007 SOCRE off-road season with one goal - winning the overall Trophy Truck championship.

The 'Flyin' Hawaiian' (Pflueger is a native of Hawaii) finished the 2006 season third in the final Trophy Truck points standings - taking second place in the Baja 500 - and is eager to build off that momentum entering 2007.

"There is no time to slow down when you race off-road," Pflueger said. "We are already hard at work getting our trucks ready for the 2007 season. We want to build off of our momentum from 2006 and come charging out of the gates beginning in Laughlin."

Pflueger is entering his fourth full season racing in off-road's elite Trophy Truck division and is one of SCORE International Off-Road Racing's rising stars. During his first full year of racing in 2002, Pflueger won the Primm 300 and the famous Baja 1000 on the Protruck series, finishing second in points and earning Rookie of the Year honors. He followed up his first year in racing by winning the Protruck Championship in 2003 with wins at the San Felipe 250, the Baja 500 and the Primm 300.

Pflueger moved to the elite Trophy Class in 2004, winning the Baja 500 and the Primm 300. He finished 4th in the 2005 Primm 300 and was runner-up in the Baja 1000. Pflueger also scored runner-up finishes in 2006 in the Baja 500 and the Terrible's Cup II non-points event.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Pflueger, 39, is the President of the Pflueger Automotive Group. He resides in Honolulu with his wife, Eleni, and their two sons, Hunter and Max. Pflueger Racing is headquartered in Murrieta, Calif. For more information on Alan Pflueger and the Monster Energy/ Pflueger Racing Team, visit its website at www.pfluegerracing.com.
